I am an Art Director/a Graphic Designer specializing in print, advertising and online marketing for businesses, delivering creative design ideas that reflect the clients branding.
My fiery career as a graphic designer began in 2000 with LOWE LDB which is the Sri Lankan office of LOWE Worldwide. My burning desire for constant improvement is what led me to better my knowledge in flash animation, video editing & effects and web designing.
I have also worked with the agencies like Leo Burnett, Grant McCann Erickson in Sri Lanka and Young & Rubicam Thailand.
My client portfolio consisted of a never ending list of well known market trail blazers such as Skype, Baker & McKenzie, Unilever Sri Lanka, Porsche Thailand, Srilankan Airlines, Dialog GSM of Malaysian Telecom, Sri Lanka Telecom, Carlsberg, Nestle, HSBC to name a few.
In 2009, I had the pleasure of working on the Skype Business Website interface with the marketing team in Bangkok, Thailand.
In 2011, I became the general manager / art director at C2P Thailand a privately held Design Agency with the office in Sydney, Australia.
I graduated at the top of my Batch from Ingrin Institute of Printing and Graphics (The Ministry of Skills Development, Vocational and Technical Education, INGRIN Foundation – The Netherlands) and was awarded the Gold award for ‘Best Student’ in 2003 at the end of the course, and held a Diploma in Digital Media Design.
From hot new logo, business card, magazine ads to complex and multifaceted packaging design, POSM, ambient, corporate identities and anything else you can think of, my line of expertise stretches across a vast and flexible area of IT-Graphic savvy know how.
I’d like to think of myself as a part of the bold new generation of graphic artists who are unafraid to experiment with traditional concepts as well as invent radical new graphic ideas of their own. Graphic designing may be my job right now, but it has always (always) been my burning passion, which I believe, is the reason my quality of work stays high and consistent.
